The AB3C Thesis and Dissertations Award will select the best Bioinformatics PhD thesis and master dissertation, approved, from January 1 to December 31, 2018. The contest criteria will take into account scientific and technological results already generated by the work and its potential impact on the Bioinformatics area on society as a whole.
Selection and Presentation process
The submitted works will go through an initial stage of selection that aims to choose the 3 (three) best PhD theses and the 3 (three) best master's dissertations of 2018.
The selected works will be presented in the Thesis and Dissertation Award session during the X-Meeting in Campos de Jordão-SP. For awards purposes, the quality of this oral presentation will also be evaluated.
Prizes will be awarded at the AB3C Assembly.
Important dates
- Submissions deadline: August 12, 2019. September 12, 2019.
- Communication of the results: September 18, 2019. October 11, 2019.
